Design Inspiration
The Lissome R1 combines natural minimalism with technological aesthetics. Three side Windows inspired by aircraft portholes. R1 is short for Rain 1, and R1 wants to bring freshness and cleanliness like after a summer rain.

2020
ldeal inspiration
I'm used to washing the dishes at night, so I only have to prepare coffee in the morning. But sometimes I'm too tired at night, and doing the dishes becomes especially tough. Since I live in a small apartment with limited space, I can't install a dishwasher. The Design team drew inspiration from the gentle cleaning and tranquility of rain to create a compact dishwasher called Rain. It's space-saving and quiet, perfect for small spaces, and can run at night.
2021
Concept design
The LISSOME team and professional design company yifeeling began to work on the industrial design of R1. The structure of Rain is attractive and bright, like a gentle sun shower. The rounded edges and smooth sides create a reflective effect and a delicate sheen. The three transparent windows of Rain display the tableware within sight. Raindrops are etched on the glass door of the dishwasher.
2022
World's First Sweeping Jet Technology
We developed breakthrough sweep jet cleaning technology，Its vertical spray arm, akin to a rotating robot arm, revolutionizes dishwashing with horizontal water jets for swift stain removal，guaranteeing unmatched cleaning in 15 minutes.
2023
Engineering prototype
Over the past four years, we’ve developed and designed over 100 prototypes and tested more than 50,000 plates. This journey has been filled with challenges and hardships, and after countless failures and retries, we finally launched the R1.
2024
Mass production
In 2024, we launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, received support from users in 30 countries, and started the mass production journey of R1.
